Back from Melbourne
Just got back from the AWTEX in Melbourne. Took a while to thaw out, but nearly back to normal. Here is a photo of my entry that won the built up award. It is about 320mm diameter and about 120mm deep. Made largely from maple, but the top was a mix of maple, silky oak and cedar. Took about five weeks to make. This year was the fourth time I have taken out this award.

Powderpost,
That is exquisite, beautiful design, shape, and finish. Also excellent photographs. So much timber, so little time.

Very 1920's Geometric Art Deco design, stunning workmanship. One to be very proud of.
