    Default Back from Melbourne

Just got back from the AWTEX in Melbourne. Took a while to thaw out, but nearly back to normal. Here is a photo of my entry that won the built up award. It is about 320mm diameter and about 120mm deep. Made largely from maple, but the top was a mix of maple, silky oak and cedar. Took about five weeks to make. This year was the fourth time I have taken out this award.

    Powderpost,

That is exquisite, beautiful design, shape, and finish. Also excellent photographs.

Very 1920's Geometric Art Deco design, stunning workmanship. One to be very proud of.

Beautiful piece Jim! How about you go back & take the cold weather with you. Hope to catch up with you in the next couple of weeks if I can steal myself away from the fishing.

In order to refute remarks like that it would be great if there was a "Dislike" button."

So here is : "I dislike that post".
