    Default Merbau candlestick

This is my first turnings after 5 weeks of a cold winter, and celebrating carnival.
This merbau candlestick is made in commission, for a statue of Maria, actually the first time I turned something in commission.
The candlestick is suitable for two different sizes of candles, 70 mm and 80 mm diameter.
The candlestick is tall 325 mm, and finished with Acrylic lacquer.
This merbau is very hard wood for turnings, high density wood, had often sharpen my tools.
    Thanks for looking.
    Cheers, Ad

I very much like the symmetrical effect you've achieved.

Are you going to make it a pair!

    Nice job,
