    Default Multi colored rolling pins

Can anyone give me some pointers on turning some multi colored (wood) rolling pins. Perhaps a book on the subject?

Mac, send a PM to Ticklingmedusa, he is not that far from you, and may be able to point you in the right direction. Had you joined a few months ago, i would have dropped in when i was in SD.

No book that I am aware of.

Here is a thread on using some laminated timbers https://www.woodworkforums.com/f8/lam...e-midge-30080/, dammed if I can find the first thread part referred to (I know Bitingmidge solved it, but he didn't start the thread, so I'm having trouble searching for the thread. Perhaps another old hand might remember). Anyway, the pattern is now known as celtic crosses/patterns, often used now for pens.

I think this is the thread you want where Biting Midge explains how to do it.

Easy enough for us old hands to find it. All we do is look for it in the "Best of the Best" forum.
