    Default Natural Edge HF

    Hi All,

A natural edge hollow form below. Approx. 260mm wide by 230mm high. Made from some variety of eucalyptus that came down in the paddock recently - I think it might be brown stringybark but no guarantees. Lots of gum pockets, rot, and worm holes. Turned green and finished with several coats of danish oil and final waxing and buffing. Comments and criticism welcome.

    Thanks for looking.

    john

Kinda noice! Looks very pattable. Love the gaps! Would have been a bit exciting to turn!

Thanks Tea Lady. There was a fair bit of air in the top half that's for sure...

Dragonfly - gave this to my mum for Christmas - she thought using it as a planter for some herbs might be a good idea... Apparently more functional than I had intended...

    Thanks for the kind comment.

It's not the air you should worry about it's the wood that follows
