:C Before heading out this morning to do final finish I spotted inside the bowl :~ a gouge mark  so had to re-do and re sand internal final sand to 1000 and 3 coats of finish.
All good
Nice one Ray :2tsup:
That sure is a nice piece of rosewood
Great piece Ray.
One question. I have been away from turning for awhile but intend to get back soon, Question is about those beads. What technique and tool did you use?. In the past I've always used the skew point. Makes a beut bead but ocassionally you run into the death spiral.

Oh the bowl is gone to an old school mate today when he came into H&F's open day
during the 60's we were good friends we were in metal and woodwork together for years 9 & 10
30+ years later we meet up again in hospital 2 years ago and become friends yet again.
Allan has done a lot for me in that time as he is a fitter and turner engineer and I felt it was time I showed him my appreciation.
...whoops:doh: getting in late on this one !!!
