nova 3000 3 ph conversion
Hi,
I have a nova lathe which I am thinking of converting to 3 phase via an inverter
TW Series 0.75kW IP20 1Ph 240V input/ 3Ph 415V
can anyone assist with any information on the installation?
Thanks for any assistance
regards
Alan

loss of torque
If your going over to 3phase and will looking to use your inverter as speed control. Then you should be looking at much more power to start with. This is due to the way the inverter works, It varies the speed by increasing or decreasing the hertz and the power changes correspondingly.
I would be looking at atleast 2 or 3 times your proposed power requirementsInspiration exists, but it has to find you working. — Pablo Picasso
