#2.
Innovations are those useful things that, by dint of chance, manage to survive the stupidity and destructive tendencies inherent in human nature.

1 then 3. I like their flowing curves and small base. Like the delicate finial on 3.

In descending order, 3, 1, 2, 4.
For some reason #! always looks to me like it should be #3 but the stem got broken off...

#3, but keep in mind that Cindy Drozda has her name written all over this form...
Then #1 but, as Jerry suggests, a more delicate finial like on #3 would work better, IMO.
Then #4, although the lid needs to be scaled down so that it works better with the base form. The challenge with that base form is that is looks bottom heavy regardless of what you do with the lid. A slight waist with the form coming out again works better, IMO, eg, this one has a hint of that.
As for #2, I'd leave that form to the metal smiths.
Mick, I'm not sure what your purpose is in running this poll. If it is to get the opinions of other woodturners, then it is serving its purpose. Also helpful if you are thinking about entering into competitions as they are run and judged by woodturners. However, if you are thinking of selling your work through galleries, etc., then what works for those who buy from there can be very different to the opinions of other woodturners. The only way to find out what works for the gallery buying public is to get your work in there somewhere and and learn from what happens.Stay sharp and stay safe!

Hi Mick , my pick would be 3 and 4
