Pepper / salt mills nos 59 & 60
Hi all
A picture of my latest pepper and salt mill set attached - if they are not number 59 & 60 since 2003 it is close to that.
I'm sure a lot of you have done many pepper / salt mills over the years - the thing that makes these two interesting for me is its the first time I have made the bodies out of the same timber and the knobs different colours. In the past I have made the complete mills different colours, eg Tas Blackwood for the pepper and Vic Ash for the salt (second pic).
The body timber is recycled deckus beamus. The pepper top is NSW Rosewood, and the salt top is Vic Ash (I think). They are 305mm high, about 60mm dia, and use the Danish salt & pepper mill sets from Carba-tec, Timbecon et al. They are finished with UBeaut EEE and Shellawax Glow.
These two are to be traded for several beauty treatments for our 4-legged daughter.
cheers, Colin

Both sets look great, Colin
Worthy trade, I think! Is she after a pet-icure?
Cheers,
Dave
