Default From a pile of tree, to the trailer and then the workshop

    Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen

A friend is clearing his block of 2 1/2 acres and he has invited me to help after an excavator pushed all the trees into a pile. I cut these Jarrah Burls, got some firewood and then turned and carved them. Good haul overall and stunning grain and colour,
    Sincerely
    Willy

You have been a busy lad. Great colour in that Jarrah, and a bonus in getting the burls.
A bit of hard work certainly paid dividends.

Have fun converting it into shavings and assorted items.

So Willy, how much drying time did the burls have before being carved? Thanks

Hello Rod, I guess about 2 hours. They were bone dry and I couln't wait to see what they were like, despite having tons around the house
