    I turned this today out of a blank given to me by Ian Artlett, it is Brigalow a very attractive timber and hard as.

    Dunno if it is a platter or shallow bowl, either way, it is very nicely done. I have never turned, let alone seen Brigalow, but would be interested in having a go at a piece one of these days.
    I have never heard of your location 'Loch Sport', so I looked it up. I reckon that you have chosen a nice part of the world.
