    hi all
    does anybody know where I might find a tutorial on turning one of these

    If you're going to use one of those pewter/metal lids bear in mind that the feet/pegs are all different. A lid that fits one bowl may not fit another. You'll need to custom make each bowl to fit the particular lid you intend to use.
