    Default Putting It Together

    Hey Everyone

I have recently scored some western red cedar planks and what I want to do is join the the boards together so I can make some nice bowls and coin dishes so can anyone suggest the best way to join them

Does this mean shed time is back

Cut to approx size, glue your choice, clamp tight, allow drying time +24hrs, cut to size, turn to shape.

Ian random layer grain direction for a great effect.

Oh and duck in case of glue failure.

Here's a site that might help Ian (also Google "stack laminated rings" for other sites)

Good to hear that the finger is on the mend

How Woodturners Calculate Stack Ring Lamination Cutting Angles
