    Default raindrops

    G'day
I saw this embelishment in the AAW journal a few months ago and decided to give it a go .
A base coat is laid down then when dry , sprayed with water then with a light coloured paint at a low angle then a dark paint at a low angle from the opposite side . When the water drys it leaves a pattern as below .I then hollowed out the bowl and finished with WOP . The timber is chinese tallow .
More details can be found by googleing "art raindrop effect"

Great job and fun to do. I made one back in early 2016 and used an eye dropper which gave quite a uniform sized bubble

    Thanks for the comments.
It's worth takeing the time to get the right sized " raindrops ".The second bowl I did was more of a mist than raindrops and I don't think looked as good .The water can be just wiped of if it does'nt
look right then sprayed again .
