    Default Rata and rimu bowl

    Had some rata lying around, had heard it wouldn't turn well. Tends to split but has a nice grain.
    First two pictures of the first attempt, and last two of a rimu insert I put in after cutting our the split timber.
    Has some scuff marks on the cross-grain.
