Reason for not attending Proserpine.
Not wanting to hijack Proserpine thread so I will put it here.
I left on the Sunday Night to go to Proserpine and got to Tocumwal.
I received a phone call from my Mum that my Dad had just passed away. He has been in an aged care facility for 2 years after a massive stroke had left him paralysed.
So I went back home to help attend to a few things.

The bright side is that he didn't get stuck in Barcaldine for a week.Cliff.

2 years paralysed is not a good ending I have to say.
3rd reason for grieving.
...
Bit off-topic but folks, leave instructions with your GP and family about your end-of-life wishes.Cheers, Ern
