    Default old record power wood lathe need help

    About five years ago i bought a record power lathe model CLC3. I have some experance with metal spinning a lost art. At that time i was tought to make my own tools as part of the apprenticeship and the does and donts of a dangerous peice of equipment. The lathe that i bought was used from a pawn shop and had not directions of the correct and or safe
    way to set it up. can anyone help.

    There's some useful info on avoiding vibration - which I know can be very bad for spinners - in the thread below yours "back on the vibration trail"
    My lathe is a lighter weight model than yours but the principles still apply.
