Red Mallee Burl Bowl w Natural Edge
While I was getting Neil (Dai Sensai) to photograph my recent hollowed vessel (please see other thread) I got a couple of pic's of a natural edge bowl from Red Malle Burl. This is one of two natural edge bowls I turned for recent local shows. I love the colours from Red Mallee and this was no exception.
The dimensions are 280mm diameter (at its widest) and 50mm deep.
Thanks for looking.

Hey Swino.. has that bowl been sold ????
It looks suspiciously like one I saw recently sitting on the coffee table at a friends house in Milawa victoria.
They apparently purchased it while on a visit to Noosa.I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

Love Red Mallee - especially the way it blends with the lighter wood making it almost look like flames. That's an awesome looking piece
Cheers,
Dave
