    Default Rejuvenated parting chisel

No idea where this chisel came from but it did not fit in my PVC tubes for my chisel rack.

It was old looking and flaking varnish on the handle so time to re-turn it to some of its original luster.

Well I must say with just eee after some sanding and a moment with the roughing gouge and she is a fine looking piece of timber and a nice feeling handle too

    Default Parting tool.

    Dave,
Now you will never "part" with it, so to speak. Drillit.

Ok fixed the blade up too

I did not intentionally take it out of the handle but it made things easier

Sadly someone has ground both sides as well

But it all looks good back together

    Nice one on the handle.

As long as there is no rust on the blade then you should be able to slice pretty well.

Ok this one is for you Evan.

And to think this all started because I wanted the handle to fit in the rack. This had now become my best looking chisel

I was afraid you'd read this thread. You know how bad the rest of my chisels are.

I'll try and do one a week.
