Default Needed a rest or 2

At last I got round to making an Internal & External rest for bowls.
As you can see, I am not a welder, but was very happy with the outcome.
8mm Flat bar with 13mm S/S rod welded on top. Both 300mm long.

Those rests look good, I'd like to do the same. How did you bend them.

    Thanks for comments.
Bars & rods were heated in the Jarrahdale fire until bright red & then I beat the hell our of them until they were the shape I needed.
The S/S rods lost a heap of it's hardness due to heating, but still works OK.
The paint on top of the rest didn't last long the first time I used it.
Gave them both a good try-out & still very happy.
