Contact Woodfast directly. They had a package for retro fitting EVS to older M908's & M910's which possibly could be modified to the C1000.

The single biggest issue for a 3ph motor to fit the C1000 will be matching frame size & flange mount for a new motor to fit directly to existing.

I have the first M910 EVS conversion kit for a 1992 M908 after I hassled Bronte Edwards back in Jan 2008 - hasn't missed a beat & is excellent.

It definitely possible I have done it several times. In fact the last one was a Woodfast M400 and I am currently looking at doing it again on my big lathe.
