    Default Roadside Pickups

    G'day
    Here's a couple of small bowls made from pickups from about a year ago . The first is robinia ,about 150mm diam. by 50mm and the second paperbark about 190mm x 50mm .The paperbark shows some spalting and was conveniently dumped directly opposite my house . The robinia was about a kilometer away . The finish is DO on both .

    Well your headline "Roadside Pickups" definitely made me look twice. But it was about timber !
    Couple of good pickups so looks like I'll have to travel through Burwood more often.
