    Quite beautiful
    . I would not have had the courage to spin that up on the lathe.

    Was it turned from roots, or turned and then carved to look like roots? I assume the latter

    was first turned outwards, then the tread of the roots, then turned internally, in the end a bit of pyrography to strengthen the design .... sorry for my bad English .. .... thanks for your intervention dai sensei ..

    You've certainly got something going on your lathe, and you're well into open areas and free-forms.

    I'd love to have seen this bit of wood before you turned it. It must have been inspiring.
