Ray, there may still be a need to make specialised stuff for special occasions but these will be fewer.
I bought some of the Chucky's earlier this year and now got the rest that I wanted. Some of the items are not suitable for here and I found Don, the owner, very helpful in working this out.
Peter.

Santa.
Hi All,
Well I got 2 blocks of Chochy, Dark too, so 1 for my Birthday, 25th, & 1 from Santa.
The Real Pressie, was to be able to set up The Little Woodfast for The Grandsons, from 16 yrs. down to 8.
Fun teaching them, & a little sorry I'm not a bit closer to see how they are copping.
All I can do is cross my fingers & whatever else may help.
I will be in touch though by Phone.Regards,
issatree.
Have Lathe, Wood Travel.

What a great gift, teaching grandsons to woodturn. Also belated birthday greetings, Lewis. So you must get double the presents on Christmas Day.
I taught my kids to fish and now one of them is teaching my grandson who is now eight. I bought him a Leatherman knife with blade and pliers and he used it to get the fish hooks out as he fished to 12-30am this morning. He cut his finger
with the new knife on Christmas Day. I wonder if he is the only kid to ever do that!!!

Got a bench router, old fart forgot to include the bench
A Larry kenney fly rod blank and a truck load of sand paper, obviously the misses stalkes my pm's while I'm at work. Early pressies were a gouge and skew, bowl gouge would have been useful too but I'm pretty happy with what I got.

How about some Golden & Com-Art air brush colours. Just have to learn how to use the airbrush now.
