Default I scored at the Carbatech sale

I got my first lathe, a Woodfast M305 for $359 at the sale today.
Now I have to find that book I bought on woodturning and sharpen the chisels that I bought 2 years ago.

Bugger the book, find a club & get some lessons, much faster.

Questions, be they stupid or other can be asked of a book... just don't expect it to answer
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

ClintO; Good on your purchase. Have you done any turnings in the past?

The rest of you guys have gone

But I will admit it was funny.

ClintO, are you going to invest in a good quality chuck which will add another dimension to your turnings?

Thought it was on topic really, there was a reference to learning by book in the initial post... but anyway... I have the EVS version of this lathe and love it
