Very nice work. I like the pattern you have made with the contrasting timbers.
How long did it take to assemble the segments before you began turning it?
Congratulations on a fine piece of artwork and thank you for posting it!!Cheers,
Steck

AD, you are coming up with some interesting designs I particularly like this one with the circles created by the darker dowels(I assume they are dowels)
We always look forward to seeing what you are up to next!
Cheers,

Ed, Glitsa is in fact a blanc transparent floorlacquer, but it's also great stuff for protection of furniture and table tops. In the begin when I started with woodturning I used Danish oil, but saw when people touched many time a piece of work, ugly spots appears on the surface, acid on your hands are responsable for that.
I only make useful stuff like table lamps, fruitdishes, serve platters, bowls, so people touch it many times.
I don't have that problem with using Glitsa, I know there are better products available, but Glitsa works well for me.
Thanks for your attention. Ad
