Memo holder using pine and a red verneer between segments
Think I should have made it with a extra segmented layer to give it a bit more height looks a bit small?

Well, I think you have done well. Simple and elegant. The next one could have a little more figure in the grain maybe. To get the segments to join nicely is half the battle and you ahve done it
