From an old bedhead leg which I thought was blackwood but turned out to be iether kauri or huon and American walnut inserts

...... of all the the things I have had a crack at, its never been anything like this. I guess because SWMBO is not really a baker. Cant help with the timber ID but the shape and form along with Celtic knot are great.
