    Default Enough to make shudder

I was asked if I could turn a 28mm diam x 80 long on the end of a couple of 1200 long pieces of 35x35 of laminated HWD for a spear gun.
As my old lathe only opens out to 900 between centres, a modified extension done the job.
I think will shudder but payment is a nice crayfish. John.

It worked, and you get a cray but why did you not turn the headstock end ? Safer and more stable. Phil
