Fast drying gap filler type glue
I'm after a glue probably in black that can be used to fill in small imperfections in wood and it needs to dry quickly and can be sanded.
Something like this https://www.starbond.com/black-mediu...e-kbl-500.html
Does anyone have any suggestions and locations in Australia to buy such a product from?
Thank you

I got my Black Starbond from Timberly Wood Turning in New Zealand. Star bond Black supa glue wood filler
You could also try filling the gap with dry coffee grounds then thin CA.

Bog can be turned and sanded in about 15 minutes . You can vary the set time with the amount of catalist used . I usually mix up about a desert spoon of bog to about a match head of catalist .

Builders bog is full of something like kaolin (clay) which knocks the edge of your gouges very quickly because of the silica content. Not a big issue if you are only doing a few small cracks. Epoxy does not have the same problem unless you colour with iron oxide. No problem with Epoxy + pigment.

Brainstrust has his solution, but an alternative is 5 minute Araldite coloured with lamp black. Mix the lamp black into the darker component of the epoxy and then mix the two epoxy components together.

What do you want it for?
This method is handy for filing voids in burls, it resembles natural gum lines or inclusions. It sands and polishes brilliantly, but has no tensile strength so it shouldn’t be used as an adhesive. It was taught to me by Willie Nelson over in WA.
Take a handfull of shellac flakes and wrap them TIGHTLY in Gladwrap, you are after a fat sausage shape. Then wrap that up TIGHTLY in cotton cloth. Drop the package into boiling water and boil for about 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool. Once cool remove the cloth and the Gladwrap; you should be left with what looks like an almost black dog poo.
Take the poo and gently melt one end using a small gas powered torch (like one of those “turbo” cigarette lighters) allowing the moltern shellac to drip onto whatever you are trying to fill. You can also rub the moltern end of the poo directly onto the work. For burl pen blanks you can start turning or sanding almost immediately afterwards.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

mostly just as an easy on hand filler for small cracks/gaps. I don't want anything I have to prepare. This poo burning business so not for me!!!! Wouldn't mind seeing the results of it though.
