In another turning job today I had to turn 1 spindle to match sample. Pretty straight forward all up it took me 45 minutes.

Thankyou, I'll add to first post it took 45 minutes to thickness timber down to 32 by 32 from 50 by 55 bowed blank, then I drew it up on a pencil gauge set the lathe up then ready to turn and sand.
There is a few small decrecpencies but I would not send it off to a customer if I was not happy with the items.

Nice work Chuck. You are streets ahead of me. Would have taken me nearly half hour to turn it let alone the thicknessing down and making up a pencil gauge. Reckon I might have said it before but sure glad you don't live in Tassie! Cripes I'd get no work.
