    Default Spindle practice

    G'Day All,

Finally got a dust collector today so am now breathing a bit cleaner air. Have decided to go back to basics for revision and went and got a couple of bits of stick under the gum trees across the road and turned these ring holders, first one was that white ant eaten had to do another one.

    Cheers

I rather like the first one; it has good shape and the wormy part adds character.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Neat looking ring holders, Bernie. I like the right one. Good job orienting the grain, and the wood is nice looking. You might surprise the lady by hollowing out the base to hold a small bell (as it looks a bit like a bell). Well done!
