Your spoons look professional.
Had a look at Carl Jacobson's Youtube video making spoons. Compared to Guilio Marcolongo who demonstrates at Working with Wood shows, he is an amateur. Guilio makes two spoons out of the one turned item by cutting it in half with a bandsaw. He makes the sphere part the perfect size by trimming it with a stainless 50mm pipe that has been ground at the end. He then hollows the spoon part by placing it in specially fashioned plastic jaws that fit on a Vicmarc chuck which holds the spoon much more securely than in the Youtube video.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments
Thanks Kidbee Yes I knew I'd seen them done properly somewhere. That's how I did these, you'll notice they are pairs,
Though without the pipe and I made wooden jaws.
Carl just jogged my memory, I think he is an amateur....His tool use is sometimes dodgy but he often has good ideas.
Here is another two pairs, one not hollowed yet, out of Pear wood
