Steady Rest & Vase/weedpot ????
Wanted to make a vase for the first time. So quickly tried to make a steady rest. Fail!!! Needs to be less flexible next try will be a steel frame if there is a next time for this. The wheels are off inline skates. Should have cleaned them first as they left a nice line of wax on the job
Unable to hollow out much so it will be a weed pot of the larger variety. Need to make a decent hollowing rig as well.
Timber is jackaranda I think. Very white but some nice spalting.
Not that happy with the outside shape now. May try some coloring tomorrow. May display some metal roses in it to make up for the all the other issues.
