A useful addition for dust extraction
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen
Not my invention, but I have never seen these before, but found them extremely useful
Requires an off cut of wood and an old vacuum hose
I turned the blank of wood to suit the mouth of my dust extractor fitting. I then turned a recess to accept the hose. I used hot glue to hold the hose within the wooden adapter.
Works really well, but the whistle a 3hp dusty to can make through the hose is loud
Cheers
Willy

To make it a lot more efficient and reduce the whistle make it thicker and turn a bell mouth into the exit.
Actually a bell mouth hood might make it louder - but that is a good sign as it signifies it is moving even more air !
