TC tipped Forstner bits.
If the mods think this belongs somewhere else please move it. I put it here as it's about using them on a wood lathe.
A few years ago I bought a stack of stuff from a deceased estate and there was these noname bits sized for Crushgrind mechanisms. Well they have served their purpose within reason, but during a deep clean of the shop recently I knocked the whole set in their wood base over and broke a wing off everyone.
I had some spare TC so I replaced one and then tried to grind it correctly. No I don't have a Tool and Cutter grinder so the freehand grinding wasn't successful.
I have searched the interweb and lots available, but the Carbitool ones appear to be very good quality by reviews.
My only concern is that they have a 1/4" hex mount drive. Will they be robust enough and drill straight and true?
Hopefully someone has experience with them.
Thanks,
Crocy.

Thanks for that China. When I clicked the link it only displayed the basic mechanism on my tablet, but the rest of it comes up on the computer. When I was searching that site listed several sizes as out of stock. I may rethink the Woodcut borer.
Thanks,
Crocy.

Pretty much every thing seems to be out of stock over a wide range of industries.
