Get tough on her . We need pics!

And I do know that she is progressing in leaps and bounds - no doubt due to your tuition.

We all do appreciate the support we get from the more experienced forumites. All I can say is keep it coming.

44 degrees forecast for here tomorrow, so no shed time.

    regards Jeff

And before anyone asks: The timber is Silky Oak. The chisel is a Henry Taylor Super Flute with a conventional grind. The lathe is a Technatool 3000 fitted with a CWS variable speed motor (love that motor) spinning at between 900 - 1400 RPM.

No! Its backwards and a lot faster. Although it actually till seems to take ages to finish something. I can throw a bowl in ten minutes if I really slow down. But then I get a chance to really muck it up in the kiln. :crybaby:
