Thread: Thompson turning tool bulk buy?

I've made most of my handles out of half a piece of 4 x 2 hardwood which was originally the joists for my house. Built 1916 so I thought they'd be pretty well seasoned by now. I only use half the 4 x 2 as the other half has a row of nails in it . I think it's maybe spotty gum but really have no idea
I've some Jarrah which I'll probably use for the handles of the Thommo toolsregards

For anybody who has ordered a 5/8" tool, I have a 5/8" P&N drill bit with a 1/2" shank.
Let me know if you would like to borrow it as they are not cheap to buy for just one or 2 holes.
It will only cost a couple of dollars to post it around & if we have a few takers, I'll make a list & it can be forwarded on to the next person as each finishes with it.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

That's a very kind offer Cliff, I'd just started worrying about a drill bit. I'd like to take you up on the offer please.
ThanksKeith

Patience kiddies!
At a guess it'll take 2-3 weeks before they land.
Half will go from the US to Sydney for Ozkaban to post out and half to me.
Many thanks to Ozkaban for covering the northernish part of our wide brown land.Cheers, Ern
