Having profiled 'em, I decided I may as well finish the job and sharpen 'em while I'm at the grinding station.

Of course, I wasn't sure that the profile was quite right, being new tools and all, so I decided to do a few quick test cuts in Cliffy mode before I handled 'em.

One winged bowl & a goblet later, it's now nearly 3:30, I somehow didn't make it in to work and I still haven't even started looking for the wood to turn into handles.

But I don't care; it has been a good day and I'm a very happy chappy.

Andy, I thought you were going to work today????

    Hi All,

Brett, Gidgee1, PommyPhil, stevew and Cliff's chisels are currently making a large dent in the mail at the bottom of the post bag in Sydney's GPO. Hope granny doesn't mind that Grumbine bowl gouge of Cliffs in the middle of her pension cheque

I have organised with the others (or in the process of..) pickups which will happen in the next day or so.

    Happy Turning!

    Cheers,
    Dave
