    Jim, They are really good looking boxes, and it is good to know that others use Shellawax. I love the "Glow"

    I've not tried Gidgee, but Mulga and Jam are pretty tight as well. Also that Ironwood from Alice Sp. is pretty hard.

    Thanks Bob, I have used jam and iron wood, the are both good for chasing threads. I don't have any mulga so I can't comment.

    Have ever thought about doing some threaded boxes in the size & shape or lawn bowls be a novel hiding place for jewellery no one ever wants to steal lawn bowls
