Timber Gloat
Three months ago my daughter called to see if I were interested in any Eastern Red Cedar that was being cut down for road widening. I told her I would take all she would get.
When I went to visit I took out the front seat of my Ford Festiva (Kia Pride in AU) to bring all I could haul 255 miles home.
I weighed the pieces to make 499 pounds in the pile in front of the Festiva. The car was heavy feeling but handled fine. We did come up the mountain at a leisurely 45 mph in 3rd gear.
I made a stack of the remaining ones in the shade for the next visit. She will get a bowl or two.So much timber, so little time.

I was initially a bit miffed as to why you would want to sit on a lump of cedar for 255 miles but then I read your location.
Great score, well done-Scott
