What I have been using for ferrules is this brass threaded pipe from Bunnies, fitting a piece to the handle and then turning the thread off

    Turns out great

Nice handle Rick. Did you just use the parting tool and file on the brass like me or do you have a secret weapon for the job.
    Regards

    No secret John,
HSS turning tools. If I remember correctly I used a spindle gouge and a scraper to shape and sand paper to finish

I used a HSS parting tool but got a bit of chatter so resorted to a file. I may repurpose something heavier to do it next time.

I have used these: Access to this page has been denied. for ferrules.

Also scrap; rigid copper tubing, electrical metal tubing, and steel tubing from a headboard.
So much timber, so little time.
