    Default Todays workshop time

Managed to get quite a bit done today even if it was not all completed items.

Two bowls done this afternoon the first a spalted bowl believed to be beech and the second Ash burnt on the outside and wire brushed the grain filled with "Hot Pink" wax and then a coat of woodwax over the top.

Then sorted but not completed a musical themed bowl and a VE day vase (a bit late I know) which I managed to get some of the back done.

On top of that cut up some burrs into rough blank sizes ready for turning.

Nice work on these, Dalboy. I'm a fan of spalted timber generally - always unpredictable in finish. That burr-bowl looks like it would have given you some trepidation in the final stages.

Good to see you're making great use of the lockdown isolation with some top shed time projects Derek...
