    Default Spider bowl

This Spider Bowl Was my first segmented turnings ever. I saw it first at the American woodturner Kevin Neeley´s website, then I decided to copy it. But I told Kevin later that I copied him.

This is about 7 years ago now.

    All comments are welcome.

Very nice, indeed. That's a challenging blank construction for a first shot at segmented turning. Neeley's original was only about 9 1/2" ( 240mm), according to his web site.

    Cheers,
    Joe

    Thank you for the bragging.

As I told in the introducing: I copied Kevin Neeley´s Spider Bowl, and afterwards I told Kevin about it.

This was one of the first segmented turnings I saw when I got broad band internet, and my thought was: If he can do it, I can do it. As you can see, I done it.
