A trio of balls.
At one of the woodworking shows I once saw a demo on how to turn a ball and decided that at some stage I'd turn a ball.
So when a few weeks ago at our club meeting David Shing showed how to turn one and challenged us to turn a ball I decided that it was time to make some.
I made two balls out of pine which turned out to be easier then I thought.

Last Monday I showed them at the Men's shed as well as my licorice allsorts bowl (I quite like that description ) and they suggested to make a small ball to match.
Being up to the challenge here is the final ball of the trio made.

Enjoy.
Peter.

Hello Sturdee,
My old woodturning mentor always says...you can tell a good turner by his balls! -ha ha - well done. I had a few hamburger buns and pearshapes before I got the knack. Regards, John M.
