A Turner needed for handles
Hi all,
Is anyone available to do an easy turning task? I'm currently building myself a gramercy bow saw but i need the handles to finish it off.
I have the plans so can provide the exact dimensions needed. For timber, any suitable offcut you may have spare!
I'll happily pay any suggested for time/ materials/ postage.
Please pm me if you are interested.
Best regards
Adam

Hi Kryn.
Attached is a screenshot of the handles from the instructions.
All measurements are in imperial.
I can attach the full guide if the quality of the image isn't good enough.
Regards,
Adam

I'm surprised Adam that you haven't decided to embark on a foot-powered lathe odyssey

Ha! Thanks Brett.
I'd rather burn some electrons if i ever start turning.
Those foot powered ones are huge and my "shed" still needs to convert back into a 1 space garage occasionally.

Can i give a shout out to John ( @aussiepens ). The handles he made arrived today and they look great.
I'll post a picture of the finished saw once i try and improve the frame to do these some justice.

Finally finished the saw. Meranti arms with tassie pal cross beam. The handles and the toggle were made by John from crows ash.
Finish is just my first attempts at French polishing with orange shellac.
Thanks again to Gordon (Therapy) and Paul (Aussie pens) who made this possible.
Regards,
Adam
