Sadly I won't be able to make it this year (last year was my first)
I reckon turnfest is as good as it gets in Australia...
Disclaimer.....I demonstrated last year....and all I wanted to do was go and see the other demonstrators.....
Probably the biggest crowd of happy (well fed) wood workers I've ever seen..
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Hi Dave
Tool shop is always first stop and last a bit of retail therapy keep a check on the instant gallery then work out which of the over seas turners have to offer at least one rotation with each one then try to see all the Aussie turners and catch up with old Turnfest friends.

I can't wait, I could not get there last year, so I am keen to see the new venue. Once again, too much to see and not enough time. You can't get enough of a good thing.

Give you a heads up!! If you have liked what you've seen so far.
Wait till next year.
There will be extra rotations to fit in all those choices.
Up from12 rotations x 8 to 15 rotations x 10
With Many Many more demonstrators.
Delegates at Turnfest 2011 will be the first to preview the line up for 2012.
10 Years Next year!!
Look forward to seeing you there.
Cheers

I'll be there, with a couple of others from the West, as they have been before and reckon it's a great show. As far as seeing all the rotations I think it will be like trying to pot a square block into a round hole. but i will try
All the best EvoWood
