    Default Urns.

A serious question please. What sort of volume is needed for an urn for a persons ashes?

I may just need to turn one and the cremation is tomorrow so a quick answer would be greatly appreciated.

Just measured the box my mil is in, 225mmx 110mm x 85mm. (9" x 41/4" x 31/4"). That is a standard cremation plastic "Brick" box. It is designed to fit into the space a standard clay house brick would occupy. She resides in the cupboard behind me and is very quiet.

8" Tall will give you just over the 200 cubic inches. That is inside measurements.

The formula is: Pi r squared by length.
