    Default Vase with silk flowers

Got from my future son-in-law Remco a lumb of beech 35cm diameter and with approx. the same lenght, which he found in his shed with cleaning up his shed.
Lay in his shed for a long time, as it was full of cracks, and spalted.
For avoiding the cracks, did cut it into 4 parts, and used one part for turning a vase for silk flowers. (see picture)
It's not the classic shape of a vase, but of my own imagination.
Now it's standing in the living room as a replacement of an older vase who was filled with marbles for avoiding tip over.
Base is 100mm, the top the same, and 250mm in height.
    Hope you like it.
    Cheers, Ad
