    Thats' a nifty wee 'eccentric chuck' method he has there.

    I 'spose a longer piece could be supported with the tail stock center ,
    and then the cup hollowed out last .

    well , it might , if the piece was a fragile as the one in the video .
    Goblets are not the only things that could be turned in that fashion .

    watched the video about 6 times,now i can offer advice about it. dont try it at home , (very dangerous)
    must have lost something in the translation, but dont worry , the bruising is starting to fade already and my eyesight is starting to return.bob
