    this router stuff is distracting and addictive. If you have lot's of hours to waste, you should try it.

    I have done similar but using handtools on David Lairds Swash lathe see first 4 photos GalleryEquip2

    Noisey beast takes a bit of getting used to but I used to enjoy it. Yours would of course be much quieter except for the router.
